Ilustracje zostały zainspirowane opowiadaniami Cortazara z książki „Opowieści o kronopiach i famach”. Historyjki czytane kilkakrotnie, za każdym razem rodzą inne skojarzenia, pobudzają wyobraźnię. Są skierowane do każdego odbiorcy, który chce oderwać się na chwilę od rzeczywistości i spojrzeć na świat z trochę innej perspektywy.Moje interpretacje opowiadań Cortazara nie stanowią dosłownego odniesienia do tekstu. Czytając każdą z opowieści starałam się naszkicować pierwsze skojarzenia, wrażenia związane z utworami. Realizacje wynikające ze spontanicznych refleksji na temat opowiadań czasem ilustrują fragment historii, innym razem podsumowują całość, lub odwołują się do sytuacji, która mogła mieć miejsce przed lub po opisanym zdarzeniu. Prace nawiązują do tekstu spontanicznie, jednak wszystkie ilustracje łączy wspólna formuła graficzna, format i kolorystyka. Zależało mi, żeby moje prace w prosty lecz nie dosłowny sposób ilustrowały opowiadania Cortazara, autora, który niejednokrotnie pomógł mi spojrzeć na świat z dystansem i humorem./
Illustrations were inspired by the Cortazar stories from the book „Tales of cronopias and famas”. They are stimulating imagination, so each time we read stories, we have different associations. They are directed to each person who wants to get away from reality for a moment and look at the world from a slightly different perspective.Works in the simple but not literal way are illustrating Cortazar stories, author which many times helped me to look at world with reserve and with humour.
My interpretations of the stories Cortazar not constitute a literal reference to the text. I tried to sketch the first impression. Implementations resulting from spontaneous reflection about stories sometimes are illustrating the excerpt of the story, some other time are suming the whole up, or are appealing to the situation which could take place before or after the described event.
